Quantity tiers with mix-and-match counting, one code with a different price per product, spend tiers and thousands of unique codes, shown on your storefront with theme blocks.

Here is what gets in the way with Shopify’s built-in discounts, and how diex handles each one.
Shopify’s own discounts hold one minimum quantity each, so a three-step price break is three separate discounts to keep in step. Every item the discount covers counts toward the same total, and nothing on the product page tells shoppers that the third one is cheaper.

A Shopify discount code has one value. To take 30% off overstock and 10% off best sellers in the same campaign, you end up with several codes that customers mix up and that you have to report on separately.

An order discount in Shopify has one minimum purchase amount. 10% off from $100 and 15% off from $200 means two discounts kept in step, and shoppers can’t see how close they are to the next step.

A mailing, a print insert or a giveaway needs a unique, single-use code for every person: hundreds or thousands of codes that must all carry the same value, rules and dates. Making and checking them by hand doesn’t scale, and one shared code ends up on coupon sites.

Volume discounts with mix-and-match counting, variable discounts where one code takes a different amount off each product, spend tiers that grow with the order total, bulk campaigns of unique codes, customer eligibility rules, and theme blocks that show these discounts on your storefront.
Yes. Volume, variable and spend tiers discounts run as Shopify Functions, so Shopify applies them in the cart and at checkout like its own discounts. Bulk codes are regular Shopify discount codes.
No. diex is a public app on the Shopify App Store, and Shopify runs discount functions from public apps on every plan.
Each discount has combination settings that follow Shopify’s rules for product, order and shipping discounts, so you decide what stacks.
The blocks are a theme app extension, added in the theme editor without code. App blocks need an Online Store 2.0 theme, which includes Dawn and most current themes. The fixed spend progress bar is an app embed.
